Orthophotography
The drone takes many photographs in a grid formation as seen by the many dots above the image. Each dot is the location the photograph was taken.
Real time 2D images
After the many photographs have been taken, they are processed into a 2 dimensional image that can be overlaid on most mapping programs like Google Earth. These images can give great detail.
3D View_Trim.mp43D Models
The images can also be processed into 3 dimensional models. This allows for viewing from many angles. It can also reveal the contour of the landscape. This dataset can be viewed with most 3D viewing programs.
